Brandon Roy has played just five games this season, but despite saying he was at a “crossroads in his career“ earlier this season after a setback in his knee rehab, the injury plagued sixth-year guard reportedly hopes to continue his career, whether it’s in Minnesota or elsewhere. Roy hopes to play in one of the team’s remaining home games, either April 13 or April 15 – which would be his first game since November 9.
According to Ric Bucher:
[Brandon Roy] told me he’s hoping to play at least one more time this season and he’d like it to be in one of the team’s remaining home games, either April 13 vs. the Suns or April 15 vs. the Jazz. As for next season, apparently his contract with the Timberwolves is written in a way that he’s not completely clear if he still will belong to Minnesota…in any case, he is looking to continue his career.
