Finding anything in the NBA that everyone agrees with is pretty hard. Each observer has a different philosophy or rooting interest that makes every topic open to debate.
Even so, just about everybody agrees that Vinny Del Negro is not a very good coach. Even as the Clippers were compiling a franchise-record 56 wins this season, few people were all that impressed with a predictable offense led by Chris Paul and a haphazard defensive scheme that changed from game to game. Several players criticized Del Negro after the Clippers’ first-round loss to the Grizzlies, saying the constant changes caused confusion on defense and that the substitution patterns seemed random.
But it is all good, because Del Negro’s contract is up and the Clips can go out to get a real coach now.

The Los Angeles Clippers have not ruled out bringing back coach Vinny Del Negro, according to sources close to the process.
Donald Sterling will make the final call on Del Negro’s future.
Del Negro was hired by the Clippers in 2010 and owns a 128-102 record in three seasons with the team.

Blake Griffin has literally been wearing his massive gold chain everywhere since his Clippers were knocked out of the first round of the NBA Playoffs by Memphis.

This, of course, being Chris Paul and Dwight Howard and the Clippers and Lakers waiting games, respectively.
Dont get me wrong, having the best chance to sign Paul and Howard is hardly a bad thing for the two Los Angeles...
Vinny Del Negro is scheduled to meet with Donald Sterling over the weekend to discuss his job status, a league source said Friday.
Del Negro and Sterling are scheduled to meet in Los Angeles and a decision is anticipated shortly after.
Del Negro's contract expires June 30.
