Found July 30, 2013 on Celtics Life:
From NetsDaily.com: Various reports say KG and Pierce return to Boston on January 26 and March 7. Also told Nets are NOT playing Knicks Opening Night. — NetsDaily.com (@NetsDaily) July 29, 2013 A few days ago I discussed the Nets visiting Boston in a preseason game, and the likelihood of Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce not making the trip.  Now it looks as if KG and Paul may not take the Garden floor again until Sunday January 26, 2014.  If this report is accurate I have to say it's a very disappointing scheduling move by the league, forcing Celtics fans to wait roughly half the season for what may well be the most exciting and anticipated home game Boston plays next year. Paul Pierce Shows off his bad Boston Accent (Video)

I’m guessing this is a parting gift by Paul Pierce for the people of Boston before he departs for Brooklyn. The former Celtic, did a commercial for the Dish Network, where he had a little fun with that distinct Boston accent, it’s kind of funny, mostly a bad imitation, but at the very least worth a look. Check it out here: H/T to The Basketball Jones for the video.

Paul Pierce’s Dish Network ad will make you cry

“A good reason to move to Brooklyn is the pizza…” [Sobbing]

Paul Pierce Learned a Lot During His Time in Boston

Paul Pierce learned a lot about losing and winning during his time in Boston. But apparently, he's learned a lot about the Bostonian accents as well. He discusses it in this funny commercial for Dish Network. [Discuss on CG Forums!]

Paul Pierce Shows Off Years of Practice of Boston Accent in Dish Network Ad (Video)

Paul Pierce may have moved on to Brooklyn, but he spent enough time in Boston to maneuver his way around a Boston accent. The former Celtic, who spent the first 15 years of his career in Boston, showed off his impression of the local accent in a commercial for Dish Network released Monday. Patriots nose tackle Vince Wilfork recently did his best impression in a commercial for the...

Video: "Learn to talk Boston" with Paul Pierce

While Paul Pierce might no longer be a Celtic, he is still repping Boston in advertisements and tweeting them out to his fans. In this commercial for Dish he just posted, he teaches people how to talk like a Bostonian. Dish must have conceived the commercial spot before the Truth was traded, but at the end he says "a good reason to move to Brooklyn is the pizza." Of course...

Six years ago today the Celtics transformed their franchise by acquiring Kevin Garnett

July 31st. The day synonymous with the Major League Baseball trade deadline, where clubs on the fringe of contention look for one final piece that could make them a true championship caliber team. Six years ago, the Celtics took a page from baseball's book and transformed their franchise on July 31st, dealing five players and two first round picks to the Timberwolves for Kevin...

Doc Rivers talks about Pierce and KG: 'They could knock off Miami'

Doc Rivers had his first extended comments about Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett heading to Brooklyn over the weekend, speaking with the Boston Globe's Gary Washburn. Rivers said that talking about the duo gets him "emotional", but vowed that both Pierce and KG have something left in the tank, and that Brooklyn may just challenge the two-time champion Miami Heat next...

Paul Pierce and Vince Wilfork give awful impressions of Boston accents in new commercials

Dish Network has enlisted the help of Patriots lineman Vince Wilfork and Celtics former Celtics (damnit, that still hurts) captain Paul Pierce to help give people a lesson in Boston accents. Well, at least that’s what they tried to do anyways. The two star athletes give remarkably terrible impressions of Boston accents (especially Wilfork’s) that wind up sounding more like...
