Listen, James Harden, we kind of understand. Almost all of us has wanted to punch a Lakers fan at some time in our lives. Harden is now being accused of following through on everyone’s fantasy. A heckling fan named Barak Golan is suing Harden for assault and battery, TMZ reports. Golan reportedly yelled “Kobe [Bryant] owns your [expletive]!” at Harden when the Rockets guard rolled down his window to greet fans in West Hollywood, Calif., on Nov. 3, allegedly prompting Harden to punch Golan in the face. Harden’s representatives did not comment to TMZ, nor is there confirmation whether Bryant indeed owns any body parts belonging to Harden.Filed under: Ben Watanabe, Headlines, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers, NBA

Report: James Harden being sued for punching taunting fan

I am going to assume this is just a money grab, but it doesn’t make the story any less hilarious. That’s when a man named Barak Golan says he shouted at Harden, “Kobe owns your...

Vince Carter calls Dwight Howard 'the biggest crybaby I know'

Dallas Mavericks guard Vince Carter interrupted Dwight Howard’s discussion with an official during Wednesday night’s game against the Houston Rockets to tell him he was a “crybaby.” Carter, who spent a little more than a season in Orlando with Howard, said after the Mavericks 123-120 win over the Rockets that they’re buddies, but that Howard is still “the biggest crybaby...

James Harden throws down nasty fastbreak dunk against Dallas

With the Houston Rockets in Dallas, we all know that James Harden would be on full display and as time was running down in the first half, Mr. Harden had a nice jam. Sampson: Harden's Defense Either 'Really Good Or He's Not There'

James Harden has received widespread criticism this season with his lack of effort on defense. Harden has a habit of gambling for steals and doesn't play with much urgency as he's assigned to carry a huge load offensively for the Houston Rockets. "There's no in-between with him," Kelvin Sampson says of Harden's defense. "He's either really good...

Hard to Fear the Beard

“Fear the Beard” moniker should just go away.  There is nothing whatsoever to fear about James Harden on the defensive end of the basketball court.  Watch as Maverick’s Monte Ellis drives in and dunks on the Houston Rockets after both James Harden and Dwight Howard totally whiff on defense.  It’s a joke to think that the Rockets were once considered championship material...

Two Fans Wear Rockets Jerseys Courtside To Thunder-Nuggets, Get Words From KD, Ordered To Take Them Off

Two fans decided to show up to their court side seats at the Thunder-Nuggets game in OKC on Monday night wearing Rockets’ James Harden and Dwight Howard jerseys. They certainly didn’t go unnoticed as both Kevin Durant and Thunder owner Clay Bennett approached the duo. KD questioned them during warmups, “Do ya’ll know where you’re at?,” while Bennett was a bit more forthcoming...

Rockets show signs of progress in 109-85 win against Celtics

There was a time James Harden’s beard was stubble. Jeremy Lin was once anonymous. Los Angeles loved Dwight Howard. Things change. Yet, none of those transformations might be as great as the reversal of the Rockets’ play to open games, from the slop with which they began games early in the season to the early surges since last week’s lineup change. That was never more evident...

The bulldogs versus the Rocket Men

Avery Bradley must contain James Harden for Boston to have a chance. It used to be – pardon the word – boring to face the Houston Rockets. They used to have a hoi polloi of solid players, but not quite superstars in Kevin Martin, Luis Scola, Terrence Williams (before the legal problems, but not before the questions about attitude), and a supporting cast bereft of game changing...

Two Courtside-Sitting Bros Troll A Thunder Game By Wearing Houston Rockets Jerseys

It appears Oklahoma City Thunder owner Clay Bennett is officially fed up with fans trolling his sidelines by wearing uniforms of other teams — both current, and those long gone. The latest incident at Chesapeake Energy Arena happened Monday night, when two young men (both sitting courtside) were spotted prior to OKC’s game against the Denver Nuggets wearing Houston Rockets jerseys...
