The Rockets are reportedly set to sign point guard, Aaron Brooks, who agreed to a buyout with the Sacramento Kings Friday. Brooks was drafted twenty-sixth overall in the 2007 NBA draft by Houston where he played for three and half seasons before being traded to Phoenix.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Yahoo! Sports:
The Houston Rockets will sign guard Aaron Brooks, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.
Brooks agreed to a buyout with the Sacramento Kings on Friday and is expected to clear waivers early next week.
Because Brooks was released before the midnight March 1 deadline, he is eligible to be on the postseason roster for another team.
