The Washington Wizards got their roster down to 15 players on Sunday by waiving center-forward Brian Cook and guard Shelvin Mack. Cook had been signed by Washington to a training camp contract on September 17 after averaging 3.1 points and 2.5 rebounds for the Wizards last season. Mack averaged 3.6 points and 2.0 assists as a rookie last season.
