The Dallas Mavericks are more than likely going to trade guard Roddy Beaubois either before or at the March 15 NBA trade deadline.
ESPN.com’s Chris Broussard says the Mavericks are about ready to move on from Beaubois after he lost his point guard spot to Delonte West while Jason Kidd was injured.
Beaubois has a lot of upside but it is almost time for Dallas and Beaubois to move on.

It was another big night for the reigning NBA Finals MVP.
In the first quarter of the Dallas Maverick’s 89-73 win over the Rondo-less Boston Celtics, a blocked shot by Dirk Nowitzki gave him 1,000 career blocks, making him just the 83rd player in both NBA and ABA history to reach the milestone (80th in NBA). He added another blocked shot later in the game.

Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki has moved into the top 20 on the NBA career scoring list. Nowitzki moved into 20th on the list Monday night with seven points in the first quarter in a game against Boston. That gave Nowitzki 23,335 points, one more than Hall of Famer Robert Parish had in 21 seasons, 14 with the Celtics.
