Pass The Pill:
Finally some good news for Bulls fans! According to @KCJHoop, Derrick Rose participated in 5 on 5 practice earlier today. One can conclude that there was no setbacks from Monday’s 5 on 5 practice, and that is a positive step towards his return. ESPNChicago reported that a source close to the Bulls thought that Rose looked “really good” on Monday. Combining the fact that he has gone two 5 on 5 practices in three days and looked good, one would assume he may be close to playing.
Rose made it clear that he was not even close to returning and he could not dunk, which made missing the entire season a real possibility. But the news coming from Bulls practice seems to be that Rose is closer than he is letting on. Could it be that Rose is taking after his coach and not giving the media any information? Whatever the case, it seems that the time for his return is near. If he is coming back, early March would be the latest he could come back and be up to speed by the playoffs.
The playoffs will be more interesting with Rose starting over Hinrich, so there is no need to dunk the basketball, just lay it up on the glass Derrick.

Bulls star Derrick Rose is managed by his older brother Reggie.
