Beyond The Buzzer:
Roy Hibbert is not a fan of the Indiana Pacers’ short-sleeve style summer league uniform. In a reply to a tweet from the team’s Director of Media Relations showing off the away version of the jersey, Hibbert asked “What is that?” and provided his objection to the style with “Keep away.”
The former All-Star won’t be participating in the NBA Summer League, so he won’t have to worry about wearing them, that is unless the team decides in the future to roll out a regular-season edition.
@PacersDMB what is that?!? Keep away.

The Indiana Pacers off-season thus far is going precisely as the blueprint was laid out. They came into the off-season with three priorities: re-sign David West, hire in replacements for the assistant coaches, and solidify a weak bench. They’ve managed to do all three of their priorities in just a matter of weeks from the end of the season.
By far the most important task of the...

The Indiana Pacers have rescinded the qualifying offer to Tyler Hansbrough.
Hansbrough will become an unrestricted free agent.
Hansbrough has played a reserve role for the Pacers since being drafted in 2009. The Pacers' decision to re-sign David West made his return unlikely.
While many have been waiting for the biggest domino to fall in Dwight Howard, a top 2013 free agent has committed reportedly to a team via Yahoo! Sports Adrian Wojnarowski: Just speculating, David West’s deal could be spread $12 million per season for the duration of his reported three-contract with the Indiana Pacers or it [...]The post Indiana Pacers finalizing a 3-year, $36...
David West and the Indiana Pacers are finalizing a three-year deal worth $36 million, according to sources. The third season will likely be a player option.
West was first signed by the Pacers in the 2011 offseason.
West will turn 33 in August and the length of the deal was undoubtedly a concern for the Pacers.
He wanted to come back.
The team adamantly let it be known they wanted him back.
So, it is no shock that David West and the Indiana Pacers have reached a verbal agreement to finalize a 3-year deal, worth a reported $36 million according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports. Instead, the shocker could come for another member of the Pacers now that West is back.

With the addition of Danny Granger next season, this move cements the Pacers as a force in the East.
