As we here at That NBA Lottery Pick have noted before, NBA players sometimes post the most hilarious and most random things to the social networking world of Twitter. Yesterday, Pacers center Roy Hibbert was taking a cab to get some dinner and saw the rather bizarre sight of a woman kneeling on the side of the road apparently “dropping number two”. Clearly, Roy felt the world needed to know this information and posted a photo of it on Twitter: I was in a cab on the way 2dinner 2night. As i get out I see a girl calmly taking a poop on the side of the road! twitter.com/Hoya2aPacer/st… — Roy Hibbert (@Hoya2aPacer) May 5, 2013

Roy Hibbert posts pic of woman using NYC as her toilet

Only in New York. While the Knicks performance on Sunday was certainly disgusting, it wasn’t the worst thing that Indiana Pacers center Roy Hibbert saw all weekend. While taking a cab to dinner on Saturday night in Manhattan, Hibbert happened to catch a woman who decided to pop a squat between to parked vehicles and go to the bathroom. I was in a cab on the way 2dinner 2night....

Indiana Pacers: Why Indiana Will Beat the Knicks in Round 2

Indiana Pacers: Why Indiana Will Beat the Knicks in Round 2 By Mike Elworth: Publisher and Owner at Hoopstuff… The Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks are getting ready to face off in round 2. Both teams beat inferior opponents in 6 games, will both have had 2 days rest and should both come in ready to play for their chance at the East Finals. The Indiana Pacers strength is their...

Pacers’ Jeff Pendergraph Fined $5,000 By NBA For Flopping

The NBA announced Sunday that they have fined Pacers forward, Jeff Pendergraph, $5,000 for flopping during Indiana’s 106-86 Game 5 victory over the Hawks on May 1. Pendergraph is the first player to be fined under the league’s new harsher anti-flopping policy for the playoffs in which no warnings are granted. The offense came with 10 minutes remaining in the second quarter when...

Pacers steal Game 1 in New York

David West scored 20 points, Paul George added 19 and the Indiana Pacers beat the New York Knicks 102-95 on Sunday in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. D.J. Augustin had 16 points for the Pacers, who built a 16-point lead while Carmelo Anthony was on the bench in foul trouble in the third quarter, and easily held on to spoil the Knicks' first second-round game since...

Pacers beat Knicks 102-95 in Game 1

Every time Carmelo Anthony attacked the rim, a big body seemed to be waiting. David West, Roy Hibbert and the rest of the Pacers are classic Eastern Conference bruisers, and the New York Knicks are countering with something closer to small ball. ''It'll be, to me, a contrast in styles most of the series,'' Indiana coach Frank Vogel said. So far, the Pacers...

Pacers steal game 1 at the Garden behind balanced effort

I thought they could do it but didn't expect they would. But game one is usually the best time to steal a game and the Pacers did it against the Knicks tonight with a stellar 102-95 victory in which they led by as much as 16 points. The Pacers are solid at home but I wouldn't coun't the Knicks out just yet. Carmelo was roughed up and missed a lot of shots, as did...

Walsh Expects Brian Shaw To Be In Demand This Offseason

Brian Shaw has become one of the NBA's most valuable assistant coaches and was a candidate for several vacant positions this past offseason. Donnie Walsh, President of Basketball Operations for the Indiana Pacers, believes this could be the offseason where Shaw lands his first head coaching job. “I think he’s going to be a great head coach, period,” said Walsh. “I don’t...

2013 Playoff Preview: (2) New York Knicks vs. (3) Indiana Pacers: What To Watch For

Thanks, NBA. The Knicks won game six against Boston on Friday, and on Sunday, head back home to face the Indiana Pacers. Not even fair for Indiana either, as the Pacers were in Atlanta on Friday knocking the Atlanta Hawks out of the playoffs as well. Couldn't we push the game back to Monday? No matter, the New York Knicks face the Indiana Pacers tomorrow, and instead...

Knicks vs. Pacers Game 1: Uplifting things and disconcerting things

I didn’t do an “Uplifting things and disconcerting things” piece after the Knicks knocked the Celtics out on Friday night, partially because my Macbook charger randomly decided to stop working, and partially because there really wasn’t anything disconcerting at all about Friday night’s elimination of the hated Celtics, right? People told me there was something crazy that...
