It’s that time of the year again. You know, the one where we all think Russell Westbrook is messing with us with the stuff he wears to his playoff postgame press conference but he’s really just being Russell Westbrook.
The Oklahoma City Thunder guard kicked things off in a big way after a 120-91 win over the Houston Rockets on Sunday night. As you can see from the photo that @cjzero passed along, Westbrook went with cutoff sleeves and a gold chain. Naturally, he also busted out some fantastic grandma glasses.
Westbrook always dresses pretty funny (his outfit during All-Star weekend is a perfect example), but the playoffs are his time to shine. We know the outrageous clothing will be there. Thunder fans can only hope the fantastic play on the court will be as well.

The Thunder won Game 1 of their opening playoff series versus the Rockets 120-91 and to add insult to injury, Russell Westbrook decided to make Patrick Beverly look absolutely silly.
In the third quarter, Beverly caught himself one-on-one with Westbrook and the moment you saw Russell start to dance with the ball, you knew something awful for Patrick was going to happen and something...
At a time when Jeremy Lin should be focusing on Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder, a glimpse at his Twitter page shows that Lin, like millions of people around the world right now, is spending plenty of time screaming at his iPhone.
"Ive been stuck on level 147 of candy crush for an entire week," Lin tweeted this weekend. "I even had a dream about disco...
A word to the wise – if you post a video of yourself shirtless whilst passionately singing an enthusiastic fight song in support of your favorite basketball team, you will undoubtedly become an internet sensation at some point.
Check out the video below of a grizzly OKC die-hard singing a Thunder fight song. Beware, it is surprisingly catchy..
The Oklahoma City Thunder dismissed the Houston Rockets in short order in Game 1 of their Western Conference playoff series.
Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook combined for 43 points Sunday as OKC dismantled Houston 120-91.
It was Serge Ibaka that came through with the play of the evening. Ibaka put 17 points and seven rebounds into the Thunder’s collection plate.
It’s no wonder that the Oklahoma City Thunder are ranked as the No.1 fans in the game when you have guys like shirtless Matthias of Southern California cheering you on. Hopefully the Thunder adopt this song.
The Miami Heat may be the overwhelming favorites to win their second-straight NBA title, but Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant plans to do all he can to stop that from happening. Durant and company came in second place in the NBA last season. They were one of a number of teams that fell victim to LeBron James taking his game to another level. Second place may be acceptable...

Marc Gasol is reportedly set to win the NBA’s Defensive Player of the Year award – something OKC’s Kendrick Perkins doesn’t agree with. While he meant no disrespect to the Grizzlies center, Perkins thinks his teammate and the league’s leading shot blocker for the second straight season, Serge Ibaka, was more deserving of the honor, citing politics as the reason the 2012...
OKLAHOMA CITY -- Kendrick Perkins ran the break, Derek Fisher made a contested 3-pointer, Kevin Durant drew a charge on his old pal James Harden, dogs jumped rope at halftime and another fan made another 20,000 half-court shot.
Everything went right for the Thunder against Houston in their first playoff game as the defending Western Conference champs, and if Sunday was supposed...
