TORONTO (AP) -- Cleveland Cavaliers coach Byron Scott was ejected from Friday's game at Toronto after a brief but fiery argument with the referees. Scott received a double technical with 53 seconds left in the first half after walking onto the court in an angry exchange with referees John Goble and Kane Fitzgerald. It was the first ejection of the season for Scott, who was escorted from the floor by a team security director. Assistant coach Paul Pressey took over the team. Cleveland, the last-place team in its division, entered play Friday on a season-high nine-game losing streak.

Elias: Jamison Matches Career Mark

Matching or setting career marks during the waning years of a lengthy career is difficult for any athlete to accomplish, but Cleveland Cavaliers power forward Antawn Jamison did just that in Friday’s win over the Toronto Raptors. Just when you think things can't get any worse for the Cavaliers, they do. They announced on Wednesday they will shut down guard Kyrie Irving for a week to 10 days after he aggravated his sprained right shoulder. An Important Summer For Thompson

Tristan Thompson’s rookie season averages of 8.0 points and 6.3 rebounds are hardly the kind of numbers that jump off the stat sheet. However, over his past 12 games, the Cleveland Cavaliers have inserted him into the starting line-up and he has seen his stats increase. In his second NBA start, Thompson dropped 27 points and snagged 12 rebounds in a game against the New Jersey...

Short Handed Cavaliers Must Make Most of Opportunities Against Toronto

Can Tristan raise his game and his team in Toronto? It doesn’t seem like that long ago. It was the day after Christmas, a time  of hope, inspiration, and holiday cheer. And on that Monday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers walked from the swirl of the unknown into reality. We didn’t know what to expect of this team. Kyrie Irving wasn’t the Irving we know today. He was just an...

Box Score: Cavs 84, Raptors 80

It took a bunch of D-Leaguers and Coach Byron Scott getting thrown, but the Cavs finally managed to beat the Toronto Raptors (though it’s more accurate to say that the Cavs stole this game.) Cleveland trailed 63-52 after three quarters, looking lifeless and well on their way to their 10th consecutive loss. But a combination of Lester Hudson’s energy (23 points, 7 assists), Toronto’s...

Following heroic effort, Anthony Parker out tonight in Toronto

If I wasn't actually in awe of the fact that the Cavaliers are currently executing the greatest tank job in NBA history right now, I might find some of this either funny or upsetting. Instead, it's all just simply incredible really.Anderson Varejao has been out for a while. Daniel Gibson is out now too. Kyrie Irving is also out, and Ramon Sessions was traded three weeks...
