Former NBA star Scottie Pippen's physical encounter with a fan two weeks ago at a popular Malibu restaurant just took a disturbing turn after it is being reported that Pippen fled the scene after after cold-cocking the man and leaving him unconscious in the parking lot.
According to a 911 tape obtained by TMZ, an emergency responder communicates with 911 dispatch — who says the victim was knocked out cold outside Nobu. The incident was described as an assault.
But the dispatcher says the "suspect fled," leaving the victim lying unconscious in the parking lot.
As previously reported, Pippen has accused the victim of calling him the n-word and spitting at him, which is why Pippen attacked. The victim has since denied the allegations, saying he just wanted a photo of the former Chicago Bulls star.

Pippen was questioned after the incident with the autograph-seeker that left the reportedly intoxicated man hospitalized with a head injury. The Hall of Famer voluntarily went to a Los Angeles County sheriff's substation to speak with police after being named as a suspect in the altercation
"He's being cooperative," sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said of Pippen at the time.
Whitmore described the case as "complicated" and said there was no timetable for announcing whether charges would be brought.
Pippen was not arrested and the investigation is ongoing.
