I'm pretty sure that the Dallas Mavericks weren't expecting to start the season 0-2 and the perfect analogy to the Mavericks start might have come for Dallas forward Sean Williams.

Nearing the end of their game against the Nuggets, Williams went to the bench and decided to unload the contents of his stomach on the bench:

Sean Williams Vomits on Mavericks Bench During Game

Sean WIlliams ran out of gas during the Dallas Mavs game against the Nuggets, and did it in pretty incredible fashion. NESN explains: Williams asked out of the game late in the fourth quarter and vomited once he reached the Dallas Mavericks bench, causing a stoppage in play while arena workers cleaned up the mess. He had 12 points in 11 minutes up to that point, but had also picked...

Boss Move: Mark Cuban Sweating All Over Dallas Media Before Heat-Mavs

We’d read earlier this year that Mark Cuban had this weird way of getting ready for a Mavs basketball game, especially during the 2011 NBA Finals. The guy literally gets on a stair climber and gets in a workout. Oh, & because he’s a showman, Cuban also allows the media in to ask questions. Take this Sunday. There was Cubes, 30 minutes before showtime on his stair climber...

Tyson Chandler Saw Mavericks’ Struggles Coming

Tyson Chandler is one of the players the Dallas Mavericks let walk in free agency. Dallas would have loved to re-sign him, J.J. Barea, and Caron Butler, but they had to spend wisely given the new luxury tax rules. The Mavs could be saving their money to make a run at Dwight Howard and Deron Williams next year, but the approach is hindering them this season; they’ve suffered two...

Tyson Chandler Not Shocked By Mavericks’ Struggle

The Dallas Mavericks are the reigning NBA Champions, but are off to a slow 0-2 start this season. When they won the NBA title, the Mavericks played sound defense for the most part and didn’t give up easy baskets. Much of that defensive success should be credited to Tyson Chandler and the presence he had for the defense. When Chandler and several other Mavs players including J.J...

Dirk Nowitzki: Mavericks ‘Look Old and Slow and Out of Shape’

by Marcel Mutoni / @marcel_mutoni The defending NBA champion Dallas Mavericks are 0-2 to start the season, losing in ugly fashion both nights (by a combined 33 points.) The defense and offense look out of sync, and it’s clear that the dramatically-altered Mavs roster has yet to build the necessary chemistry to ensure success. Dirk Nowitzki didn’t mince words when talking about...

What is wrong with 0-2 Dallas? A lot of things.

The defending NBA champion Dallas Mavericks have started out 0-2. An ugly 0-2. They have been blown out by the Heat and the Nuggets on their home court, losing by a combined 33 points (and it wasn’t really that close, garbage time runs have made it look better than it was). What in the name…

Mavericks dealt another thrashing, fall to 0-2

DALLAS -- It's back to the lab for the world champion Dallas Mavericks.

McGrady can picture Howard and D-Will in Dallas

As they are the two guys left in the game of “franchise player musical chairs,” it is kind of logical Deron Williams and Dwight Howard could end up on the same team. That is certainly what New Jersey has banked its Brooklyn opening on. But what about Dallas? Mark Cuban has all but sacrificed a…
