This time last season, the NBA champion Dallas Mavericks, along with the rest of the NBA, waited to see if they were going to play a season or be lockout without a job. Now, Dallas' entire structure has changed. First, the goal was to acquire point guard Deron Williams by letting Tyson Chandler go, and sacrifice a chance for another title. In the end, Williams went back to Brooklyn, and Dallas was caught without Williams and Jason Kidd, who opted to leave Dallas for New York. Both Marc Cuban and Donnie Nelson found themselves left at the alter, and with Howard off to Los Angeles, the Mavericks needed to find alternatives fast. In the end, Dallas scanned the 2013 free agency class (A loaded class that includes Andrew Bynum, James Harden, and Chris Paul), and made small moves. First, he signed O.J.
