If I were to tell you that Miami Heat superstars LeBron James and Dwyane Wade connected on an unbelievable play during the team’s game against the Houston Rockets, would you believe me? Or do you remain skeptical about their overall talent levels and respective skill sets and would be unable to accept the premise on its own merits? Would video of said play be necessary? Good thing there is the internet, then. Because footage does in fact exist of the mesmerizing full-court, alley-oop exchange between Dwyane Wade and LeBron James. Crazy thing, the internet. In the play, which comes off a jump ball in Houston’s offensive side of the court, Wade fields the tip, sees his high-flying colleague racing down the court and unleashes a beauty of a pass that catches a leaping LeBron in stride right before he casually bounces the ball off the glass for an easy lay-in. Fantastic. With the combined efforts of D-Wade and King James, along with their less heralded teammates, the Heat dispatched the Rockets by a score of 114-108. So, do you believe that LeBron James and Dwyane Wade remain skilled basketball players now? It was the “All My Sons Move Of The Game,” for Pete’s sake. Whatever that is. Although I’d place All My Sons just behind Sanford and Son and My Three Sons on the “Names of things with Son in It” spectrum. But way ahead of Sullivan & Son. Sure, that show was (or is) on TBS, but that doesn’t mean it’s very funny.
