Sixers extend options on Young, Smith & Speights

The Philadelphia 76ers extended options on Thaddeus Young, Jason Smith & Marreese Speights. The three players have provided a nice young nucleus for the Sixers. Young & Speights in particular have become an intricate part of the team. Smith returning from his knee injury looks to become a factor and a reliable player off the bench this season. The good thing about this is that Smith is only 23, Speights is 22 and Young is 21.
