Sixers addition of Bynum makes the off-season an A
The Sixers off-season certainly has given us BIG SURPRISES and much HOPE. Coming out of the gate and making big changes quickly in the free agent season the Sixers had looked to be done by July. The active Sixers had signed Kwame Brown who was quickly ordained the starting center by Coach Collins. They replaced Lou Williams with Nick Young and drafted Maurice Harkless who had very similar skills to Andre Iguodala. These moves did not provide much excitement and the overall off-season grade on July 19 was a C.
Trading away Andre Iguodala and picking up Andrew Bynum since July 19 has definitely changed the overall grade of the Sixer off-season. It also improves the grade on Harkless from a C to a B. Now we have to wait and see much time he will get on the court. The Bynum trade gets an A and add the loss of Dwight Howard from the Eastern Conference, the trade gets an A+.
This season the Sixers will start the 2012-13 campaign with VERY HIGH EXPECTATIONS from us fans. The addition of Bynum has taken us away from mediocrity and put us at the top of the East. Talent equals wins and wins provide excitement and SELLOUTS! I can’t wait for the season to begin!
A great job from the Sixer front office. FINAL GRADE: ASimilar Posts:
