Sixers needs for the 2011-2012 season

The Sixers made strong improvements from the previous season having made the playoffs, finished with a .500 record and playing hard in the playoffs. Despite the successes this season, it did also identify specific needs the Sixers have that need to be addressed going forward. Philadelphia 76ers Blog will list some of the pressing needs we see the Sixers have to try to address. 1) The need for a consistent offensive scorer Probably the most obvious deficiency the Sixers have is not having a guy that can get you 20 points plus a night and become a go to guy late in games. The Sixers tried to let Andre Iguodala fill this role but Iguodala is not polished enough offensively to be successful. Also we don't believe Iguodala has the mentality to want to be "the man" when a game is on the line.
