With only a few games left in the regular season, the Philadelphia 76ers, New York Knicks, and Milwaukee Bucks are fighting for their playoff lives. There are three teams, with only two available spots.

The Sixers, who now how four games remaining, headed into Cleveland on Wednesday night holding onto the 8th and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.  With their backs up against the wall, the Sixers defeated the Cavaliers last night, 103-87.

Jrue Holiday lead the way with a game high 24 points, while Andre Iguodala registered 19 points, and 13 rebounds.

So what does this mean for the Sixers playoff hopes?

All three teams were in action on Wednesday night, two of the them won.  The Sixers defeated the Cavs, the Knicks beat the Nets, but the Bucks lost to the Wizards.  If the playoffs began today, the Sixers would face the number one seeded Chicago Bulls, as we still hold the 8th spot.

The Sixers are a game behind the Knicks for 7th, and with created a little breathing room above the Bucks with the win tonight.

Last night's Sixers game brought a type of energy that we havent seen in well over a month.  Although it was against the lowly ranked Clevland Cavaliers, the 76ers needed a feel-good game like that.  

The Sixers will go for revenge on Saturday night versus the Indiana Pacers, as the Pacers defeated us on fan appreciation night on Tuesday.

One final note about the Sixers is the tweet the CEO Adam Aron posted on Wednesday.  Yesterday afternoon, the Sixers' CEO tweeted a very serious question.  This tweet basically summed up what could be things to come in the offseason.
