The Sixer’s schedule is out for the 2012-13 season. Opening night is Halloween against the Denver Nuggets. The next five games has the Sixers on the road for four against New York, New Orleans, Boston and Toronto. Finishing up the month of November, the Sixers will play ten games, eight being at the Wells Fargo Center. The new look Sixers will have a tough task early on but overall the opening month of basketball will largely be played at home .

Last season the Sixers stormed out of the gate and owned first place until after the All-Star break. The fade into mediocrity began after the break and if it wasn’t for the shortened season, the Sixers probably would not have made the playoffs. The start of the Sixers season, if you were hoping for the best that will lead them into meaningful basketball in March, all the need to be is around the .500 mark. Championships are made starting in March.
