Rants: Cleveland Cavaliers for selling their fans false hope that LeBron James is going to return after the 2014 season to play for the franchise once again. Dan Gilbert honestly believes sign Mike Brown to a 5 year contract is going to bring Lebron back to Cleveland. Seriously? Yes I know Lebron has openly floated the idea of returning but that is seen more as a P.R. move to make nice with the fans than that he truly plans on coming back. He may opt out in 2014 but do we see him wearing the cavs uniform again? No. Rants: Michael Jordan for signing off on firing Mike Dunlap the very same coach he spent most of the summer going through tons of candiates before finally hiring the Doug Collins look a like coach.I thought he was going to let the coach grow into the job. Considering they were not going anywhere this year and they couldn’t be any worse than they were last season when they posted only 7 wins all season, winning 21 games this year should have gotten the coach at least next season before deciding to dump him. Strange move there Mr. Jordan. Rants:The New York Jets for their first round pick 13th overall Sheldon Richardson, Chance Warmack was on the board and you need help on the Oline and yes you already addressed your defense with the Milliner pick, this Richardson better be the stud that I read about. The New GM can’t take on projects here, the players he gets have to be ready to play now and make a real impact on the team. We will see on this one. Raves:John Buck catcher of the New York Mets, He wassupposed to keep the seat warm for the rookie Travis D’Arnaud. Well somebody forgot to tell John Buck. In 70 at bats John Buck has hit 271, 7 homers and 22 RBIs and played very well behind the plate. The early returns on the R.A.Dickey trade looks like it is favoring the team from Flushing. Raves: JR Smith for winning sixth man of the year award for the New York Knicks as he helped them win over 50 games this season and was on most nights the second scoring option behind Carmelo Anthony. He has also dispelled the myth that he is a selfish player and it’s one who cares about winning. It has been the complete opposite for Smith, he has done what the team has asked of him and more. Nice job! Raves:Matt Harvey his battery mate John Buck has hit, Harvey has pitched extremely well. 4-0 ERA 1.58 39k’s 10 walks and a batting avg against of .122 Met fans say hello to the ace of your staff for many years to come.
