When the Nets open their new stadium this fall, Jay-Z will not be the only part-owner of the Nets rapping on stage.
When you watch or go to a Knicks game, you better bet you’re gonna see Mr. Spike Lee there reppin his team courtside night in and night out.
Lee, who was born an raised in Brooklyn, probably knows the latest about the Nets and their relocation. However, Lee would never switch teams because they moved to his hometown, as he was asked the question.

Spike Lee is as New York as anyone can be. But when it comes to dividing his sports allegiances among the burroughs, don't expect the Nets moving to Brooklyn to give him a tough decision. "I am orange and blue, baby," the diehard Knicks fan told the New York Times. Lee was born in Brooklyn, but he said his lifelong fandom for the Knicks won't be changed merely by...
Carmelo Anthony took a cheap shot to the groin during Team USA's 126-97 win over Argentina on Monday in an Olympic preliminary round game.
Argentina's Facundo Campazzo delivered the punch to the groin while Anthony was taking a three-point shot with less than four seconds left in the third quarter. Anthony went down to the ground immediately in obvious pain, but his...
Argentinian player, Facundo Campazzo, gives Carmelo Anthony a cheap shot as he hits the All-Star in the groin after draining a 3-pointer:
Carmelo Anthony says nobody called him a selfish player until Jeremy Lin came along. The evidence proves otherwise, but as Anthony continually has shown, the facts never get in the way of a story that deflects blame from him. In speaking with reporters last weekend, Anthony once again seemed to assume that the world needed to take him at his word, as though no record exists of what...
The Knicks have been Paper Champions for about 40 years now. So, thank you JR Smith for stating the obvious. In an interview with ESPNNewYork.com this weekend, Smith said he thinks that the Knicks, on paper, have the talent to win a championship, something the franchise hasn’t done in 40 years. “Right now with the [...]

During the Argentina-USA game Monday, Argentina player Facundo Campazzo takes a cheap shot and jabs Carmelo Anthony in the nuts just as Melo is coming down from shooting a three-pointer. That brings a whole new meaning to taking one for the team. H/T DriveBaseline
While the New York Knicks made some logical acquisitions this off-season namely in Marcus Camby and Ronnie Brewer, I’m not quite sure J.R. Smith is right in his proclamations that on paper the New York Knicks are a championship team on paper. Then again, J.R. Smith is known for flapping those gums via ESPN. [...]
Sasha Vujacic will return to Turkey to play for Anadolu Efes.
We all saw what happened to James Harden Thursday in USA’s blowout win over Nigeria, as the young guard got crossed over badly by an opponent, which caused him to fall and get his ankles broken badly.
Harden got in a little playful beef with New York Knicks guard JR Smith Friday night, asking him on what happened to him on that play. Harden responded, saying that it was a combination...
Following a close first half, USA outscored Argentina 42-17 in the 3rd quarter and would defeat their opponent by a margin of 29 points ((126-97):
Shooting just 1-6 from the field, Carmelo Anthony didn’t have the best scoring game, but he was certainly active in today’s game vs. Argentina, their toughest opponent yet. Anthony immediately got off to a cold start, shooting 0-4...
