SAN ANTONIO -- Tim Duncan had 15 points and 10 rebounds as the San Antonio Spurs defeated the New Orleans Hornets 99-94 Friday night at the AT&T Center. The 36-year-old forward, who is in his 16th season, continues to play at a youthful level as he added five assists, two blocks and two steals in 32 minutes. His performance, and a Spurs' victory were much needed after San Antonio played 12 of its last 16 games on the road, losing four of its last 5 games. Back in the friendly confines of the AT&T center, San Antonio was led in scoring by Tony Parker who had 25. Manu Ginobili chipped in 13 and Boris Diaw added 12 as San Antonio moved to 20-8. Kawhi Leonard saw his fist action after sitting out 18 games with tendinitis in his left knee. He had eight points in 20 minutes. The pesky Hornets, who were down by 16 in the third quarter, cut the deficit to four on a Roger Mason field goal with six minutes left to make the score 84-80. San Antonio pushed the lead back ...

For Tim Duncan, the NBA lockout last season may have been a huge blessing. If he was on the court keeping busy and playing for the San Antonio Spurs, he might have kept putting his plans to open up "BlackJack Speed Shop," his own car and customization shop.
Duncan opened up about his new business venture and spoke a bit about his new shop, including on one of the reasons...
SAN ANTONIO -- Twenty eight games into the season, the San Antonio Spurs have had to deal with their share of injuries and absences. Back to full strength for the first time since November, and with consistent play from Tim Duncan, it was enough to get them into the win column again. Duncan had 15 points and 10 rebounds as the Spurs defeated the New Orleans Hornets 99-94 Friday...
San Antonio Spurs' Manu Ginobili plays like an assassin on the court. He is crafty, lethal with the basketball, and when an opposing player isn't ready to defend him, he will nail a dagger three-pointer or get to the rim for a monster dunk.
So it goes without saying, Manu is an NBA player with assassin-like skills much like the main character from the popular video games...
Second-year small forward Kawhi Leonard said he will return for tonight’s home game against New Orleans.

“I’m feeling good, ready for tonight’s game,” Leonard said. “It’s been a while since...

The San Antonio Spurs are not only labeled as "boring", but they've had a history of bringing in international players to help the team on their quest for a championship. This season the Spurs might have the most talented international group compared to past years with Tiago Splitter (Brazil), Nando De Colo (France), Boris Diaw (France), and Patty Mills (Australia)...
The Spurs have recalled Kawhi Leonard from his medical rehab assignment.
The San Antonio Spurs haven't exactly been the most exciting team to watch over the years, especially when they were winning titles. In fact, they had some of the lowest ratings for the NBA Finals with their defensive mindset, inside-out mentality that consisted of "4-Down" and pick-and-roll plays. When the Spurs decided to adapt to the rest of the league and incorporate...
It's been a while since we checked up on San Antonio Spurs draftee guard Adam Hanga and from the looks of the highlight package below, he is doing just fine.

Another road-heavy stretch left the San Antonio Spurs weary and looking forward to one of their longest homestands of the season.
They'll try to begin that stay by avoiding their longest losing streak in more than 20 months Friday night against the lowly New Orleans Hornets, losers of nine in a row.
