Some San Antonio Spurs fans were disappointed that they didn't see Kawhi Leonard against the Denver Nuggets last night and were fearing the injury could be much worse than expected. According to Marc Spears on Twitter, there's nothing to worry about Spurs fans:
Spurs assign injured F Kawhi Leonard (knee, quad) to the Austin Toros of the NBA Development League for a medical rehab assignment.
— Marc J. Spears (@SpearsNBAYahoo) December 19, 2012
This comes as great news for Spurs fans. Kawhi will be getting some minutes and looking to get into some decent game shape before going into an NBA game. He'll still need work to do but this will come as uplifting news for a team that's needing to recharge with a hellish schedule and a thin roster because of injuries.

Patty Mills' ride gets the Duncan, BlackJack Treatment
San Antonio Spurs' Tim Duncan's BlackJack Speed Shop is finally open for business and his teammate, Patty Mills, got his ride the BlackJack treatment.
Mills took his VW R to TD's shop and got it customized. I am sure the team over at BlackJack took time and gave it their all to make Mills' ride look this great. You know, the same approach TD takes in the NBA...

Pop raves about rookie De Colo
San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich has gotten the reputation from Spurs fans that he doesn't usually play rookies, especially with a veteran team around them. This year is different and this player isn't exactly a rookie either since he's played professional basketball overseas.

Utah's Williams doesn't want to be Spurs' 'step brother'
For years teams have been trying to be like the San Antonio Spurs. No team has been more consistent over the last 15 years, so why not? The Spurs have built a successful mold that other teams are going to try to copy, but in my opinion, no one has accomplished that goal yet. After hitting the game winner against the Spurs last week, Utah Jazz guard Mo Williams made reference to...

In an interview on elpatagonico.net, Ginobili, who has suffered his...
Kevin Durant Swats Josh Smith
In case you haven’t noticed, Kevin Durant is ridiculously good. His offense has always been there, but the rest of his game is what is beginning to really impress people. We just showed you his chase down block on James Anderson of the Spurs, so of course, he decided to follow it up with another impressive defensive display.
If you still have some doubts about Durant’s ability...
