• Cory Joseph, the reporter?

Spurs guard Cory Joseph took over the mic from our friends at Spurs.com and interviewed Spurs draftee and Summer League teammate Marcus Denmon.

"You just gotta get out there and get some rythm going," Denmon answered about Joseph's question regarding adjustments for tonight's game. "You gotta come in and be ready when your name is called so I'm just getting ready for the next game and continue to get better."

Joseph also poked at Denmon, who's Missouri team lost to Joseph's Longhorns when both players were in college.

• Parker offered 500k to ref Brown-Drake fight

Apparently for some, Tony Parker almost having serious damage done to his eye wasn't enough the first time Chris Brown and Drake had an altercation at a SoHo nightclub. According to RumorFix, Celebrity Boxing is hoping Parker will referee the two this time around.

Celebrity Boxing’s Damon Feldman has already offered Brown and Drake $5 million each to fight in a three, 1-minute round boxing match. Now Feldman tell us he desperately wants Parker to get involved.

“I am looking to have Tony be the referee; it’s a natural choice. We are willing to give Parker $500,000 and $500,000 to a charity of his choice if he takes the job.”

I doubt Parker would be willing to put himself in the line of fire again. With the Olympics starting soon and a chance to make another run at a championship, Parker has more than enough to stay busy with.

• Ginobili, Argentina confident going into tough tune-ups with Spain, USA

While the United States is the heavy favorite to win Olympic gold in England, and Spain is considered the biggest competitor to the U.S squad, current Spur and former Gold medalist Manu Ginobili told Radio Cataratas that although Argentina is older, he is confident in his team's abilities.

"Although we are older, we believe in our abilities and our potential. And we know we have to compete with any team," Ginobili said. "Today, Spain and USA are two of the best teams in the world. They will be demanding tests for us."

Argentina and Spain will play their friendly on Friday, while the United States will play them on Sunday.
