Third Quarter: Stat Leader: Tony Parker with 20 points, 5 assists, 2 rebounds. Recap: If the Spurs thought the 76ers were going to go quietly into the night, then they had another thing coming. The Sixers closed the halftime gap with the Spurs which caused Gregg Popovich to call an early timeout.  However, the Spurs thwarted any 76ers' comeback. Spurs shot 33% from the 3-point line, had 36 points in the paint to Philly's 28. Spurs had 38 rebounds to 76ers 30. The Spurs also got things done at the free-throw line shooting 88.2%. Score: Spurs 81, 76ers 63. Fourth Quarter: Stat Leader: Tony Parker 20 points, 5 assists, and 2 rebounds Recap: The Spurs continued to pour it on the 76ers as the team never gave Philly any chance at a comeback. The Spurs were just out-hustling Philly, making the shots, and basically put on a clinic. Final: Spurs 109, 76ers 86. Notes: Duncan passed Adrian Dantley for 24th place on the NBA's all-time scorer's list. Spurs once again were hot from the free throw line shooting 82.6%. Biggest lead for the Spurs was 25. Quotes: 76ers coach Doug Collins on the Spurs "When you play them, you better play every possession till the end." 76ers coach Collins on Spurs' Popovich "He's a brilliant coach." 76ers coach Doug Collins on the Spurs "They run their offense harder, cut harder, and move the ball better than any team in the NBA." Spurs' Popovich on beating the 76ers "Tonight we just did a great job getting them off the three-point line" Spurs' Popovich on Manu Ginobili "He's definitely back." Spurs' Popovich on Manu's health "He's had to slowly get back all his athleticism." Spurs' Duncan on Manu's dunk "It looked good in warm-ups. It was a great move down the lane and it was great to see him put one down." Spurs' Duncan admits Manu hit him with the ball today "Yeah, he hit me (with the ball) between the forehead today. I wasn't ready for it." Spurs' Ginobili on his health "I've been back for more than a month." 76ers' Spencer Hawes on the Spurs "You can't breathe for a second. They're a good team" 76ers' Spencer Hawes on the Spurs "There's a lot we can learn from a team like that." 76ers' Jrue Holiday on Spurs' execution "I think the way they execute with so many veterans on the team helps out the younger guys."
