The San Antonio Spurs were hit with some bad news today as shooting guard Danny Green will miss the next four weeks.  Green underwent an MRI today, and the team announced he has suffered a break in the second metacarpal bone of his left hand. During the game against the Minnesota Timberwolves yesterday, Green was seen pointing to his left hand.  Many at first thought it was a sprain to his finger but as stated, the X-Ray and MRI confirmed the break. Green will most likely be replaced by either Manu Ginobili or Marco Belinelli, I believe Belinelli will be inserted into the starting five as he has been playing great basketball as of late. This season, Green is averaging 7.4 points per game on 41.7-percent shooting from the floor.  Compared to his numbers last season (10.4 ppg, 44.8-percent) he has taken a dip in scoring. With as deep a bench as the Spurs utilize, Green will surely be missed. It'll likely mean in increase in minutes for either Nando De Colo or Cory Joseph as they try to step in and play backup minutes for Ginobili or Belinelli.
