The San Antonio Spurs (23-8) outlasted the Houston Rockets (16-13) tonight at the AT&T Center snapping the Rockets' 5-game winning streak 122-116. The Spurs were led by the duo of Tony Parker and Tim Duncan with the two scoring 31 and 30 points respectively.  Houston was led by James Harden who finished with 33 points and 7 assists. For a first half recap, click here, but here is how the second half went down with some notes and quotes from players and coaches. Third Quarter: Stat Leader: Duncan with 28 points, 5 rebounds. Recap: The Rockets continued give the Spurs fits throughout the quarter but thanks to Duncan and Parker, the Spurs kept the Rockets at bay. Duncan scored 10 points while Parker notched 8 points in the third quarter. Houston was led by 28 points and 6 assists. However, he picked up his fifth foul in the third quarter. Spurs also remained hot from the free throw line shooting 90% for the game. Score: Spurs 98, Rockets 92. Fourth Quarter: Stat Leader: Duncan with 30 points, 5 rebounds. Parker with 31 points, 10 assists. Recap: The Spurs were led by Duncan and Parker in the final period to put the Rockets away. Both player scored 30 points and more. Turnovers down the stretch killed Houston which ended up with 24 turnovers for the game. Final: Spurs 112, Rockets 116. Notes: Parker scored 31 points while Duncan finished with 30 points. Spurs shot 91.7% from the free throw line tonight. Spurs lost the points in the paint battle. Houston scored 52, San Antonio scored 40. Spurs scored a season high points in the first quarter (41) and a season high at the half (69). Duncan passed Tree Rollins tonight on the NBA all-time shot blocked list with 2,543. Quotes: Spurs' Parker: "It was very up-tempo tonight and I personally love it but we have to get stops." Spurs' Ginobili: "They were unbelievable tonight." (On the play of Duncan and Parker) Rockets' Lin: "They keep the waves coming and coming. They definitely used a lot of bodies." (on the Spurs' bench) Rockets' Harden: "It changed the entire game. It gave me five fouls. I had to come out." (on picking up his fifth foul in the game) Spurs' Popovich: "It's always a tough matchup. he's a great player. Offensively, he's impossible to stop and he proved it tonight."
