We're back...finally with a new episode of the Spurscast. With Jeff Garcia out for this show due to what we can only guess is vest shopping, staff writers Jose Grijalva and Kyle Boenitz joined me to talk about the latest with the San Antonio Spurs.
Up first, we talked about the injury to Tim Duncan and how the San Antonio Spurs will stay afloat without him. We all agree that Tony Parker will be key to the Spurs winning big games during the rodeo road trip as long as Duncan is out. Jose and Kyle have some major expectations for Aron Baynes now that he is back from his sting with the Austin Toros.
While we are mixed on Duncan being healthy enough for the all-star game, we agree that we are all lucky Spurs coach Gregg Popovich is coaching the West All-Stars and will be monitoring his minutes should he return prior to the break.
We also all hope the #letbonnershoot campaign works in the Spurs forward's favor and he gets a chance to compete in the three-point shootout...
