This week's episode of the Spurscast is my first attempt as host. Hopefully I'll be cranking these out on a weekly basis, so look forward to many more to come. My fellow Project Spurs writer, Trevor Zickgraf, joins me this week and first up on our agenda we discuss Tony Parker's rank among NBA point guards. As a big Chris Paul fan, Trevor is reluctant to put TP as number 1, and I have my doubts as well. We also discuss the Spurs' loss against the Golden State Warriors and try to determine if this is a team the San Antonio Spurs need to fear in the postseason. That leads into a debate about the other Western Conference teams the that could give the Spurs trouble in the playoffs. Trevor also gives us the background on his odd Twitter handle (@yowhatupT), I talk about what made me renounce my Phoenix Suns' fandom and much more. If you would like us to talk about a specific topic in future Spurscasts, want to comment on this week's episode or just want to tell me how awesome I am, email me at kyle@projectspurs.com , or hit me up on Twitter (@KyleBoenitz). Parker injured in Spurs’ blowout of Kings

Leading by 36 points at one time on Friday evening, the San Antonio Spurs didn’t celebrate their 130-102 rout of the Sacramento Kings with too much excitement. The reason being, the Spurs would have probably taken either a loss or a close game instead of losing their best player, All-Star point guard Tony Parker. “He’ll be out a while,” said Spurs head coach Gregg...
