The Stan Van Gundy radio tour rolled on with an appearance on AM-740′s “The Game” in Orlando. But this appearance unlike those other appearances. Instead of ripping the Magic, Van Gundy decided to look in his crystal ball for the future of Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose. No, he didn’t give a prediction on when Rose would come back from his ACL injury. And no, he didn’t give a prediction on if Rose will be the same player as he was pre-injury. But what he did provide is his belief that if Chicago does not add another star to play with Rose, he may very well leave Chicago for greener pastures. “I think the interesting one coming up in the future is going to be Derrick Rose,” Van Gundy said on AM-740′s “The Game” in Orlando. “I think Derrick Rose is a great, great representative of our league, and he’s a great player. And he’s got good players around him, very good players around him, but if (the Bulls) can’t get another star there for him is he eventually going to look aroun

Stan Van Gundy Annihilates Alex Martins

CEO of the Orland Magic, Alex Martins received some harsh criticism from former Magic Coach, Stan Van Gundy. Van Gundy went on a local radio station and had quite a bit to say about the CEO, none of it good. And for what it’s worth….I like SVG, but I like him even more  now.   “I think Alex’s comments are based on the fact that Dwight and maybe others didn’t like me...

Stan Van Gundy blasts Magic CEO Alex Martins: He has no sports knowledge

There will be no talk about how the NBA is just a business and how there are no hard feelings now that Stan Van Gundy and the Magic have officially ended their relationship. There are hard feelings. It was no secret that Van Gundy and Dwight Howard did not get along, and Stan feels as though the Magic did a poor job of handling the situation. In particular, he doesn’t think very...

Stan Van Gundy wonders if Derrick Rose could be the next Dwightmare

Watch the throne: The return of Derrick Rose

The last time we saw Derrick Rose, he was being carried off the court on a stretcher during the first round of the playoffs in Chicago. We had high hopes for the Bulls last season; a Chicago-Boston rematch would’ve made more money for Stern than the Boston-Philly one did. It was so close for Chicago. Finally their redemption was near. Rip Hamilton was running circles around defenders...
