There's a big part of me that wants to say this could never happen. Truth is, Derrick Rose could be the next superstar to bolt for greener pastures when his contract does expires with the Chicago Bulls. As much as we might not want to think that's possible. Stan Van Gundy, a man who speaks only the truth, wondered about Derrick Rose's potential to do this very thing earlier this week on an Orlando radio station. Van Gundy's comments are below via ESPN Chicago: "I think the interesting one coming up in the future is going to be Derrick Rose," Van Gundy said on AM-740's "The Game" in Orlando. "I think Derrick Rose is a great, great representative of our league, and he's a great player. And he's got good players around him, very good players around him, but if (the Bulls) can't get another star there for him is he eventually going to look around and say, 'Hey, I've got to work this out on my own and I'...

Van Gundy: Rose may leave Bulls

Former Orlando Magic head coach Stan Van Gundy said in a recent interview that he believes if the Bulls don't surround Derrick Rose with more talent, he could elect to leave.

Derrick Rose’s Return

ADIDAS biggest sponsor is no question Derrick Rose. The Bulls superstar point guard is recovering from an ACL injury, and ADIADAS is following Rose’s recovery. Recently ADIDAS recently this video of Rose titled “The Return”. Check it out below. Rose suffered the injury with 1 : 22 left in the game in a 1st round playoff game against the Philadelphia 76ers. Watch the throne: The return of Derrick Rose

The last time we saw Derrick Rose, he was being carried off the court on a stretcher during the first round of the playoffs in Chicago. We had high hopes for the Bulls last season; a Chicago-Boston rematch would’ve made more money for Stern than the Boston-Philly one did. It was so close for Chicago. Finally their redemption was near. Rip Hamilton was running circles around defenders...

Van Gundy rips Magic CEO in radio interview

Former Orlando Magic coach Stan Van Gundy was critical of the team that fired him, claiming during a radio interview that Magic CEO Alex Martins had no knowledge of the game. "It's a typical lack of understanding from someone who has no sports knowledge, who has never coached or played, who has never been in a's a naivete," Van Gundy said on 740...

Stan Van Gundy Annihilates Alex Martins

CEO of the Orland Magic, Alex Martins received some harsh criticism from former Magic Coach, Stan Van Gundy. Van Gundy went on a local radio station and had quite a bit to say about the CEO, none of it good. And for what it’s worth….I like SVG, but I like him even more  now.   “I think Alex’s comments are based on the fact that Dwight and maybe others didn’t like me...

Van Gundy still firing shots at the Magic

There is only one word to describe the Orlando Magic season “drama”. The Magic fired coach Stan Van Gundy and parted ways with general manager Otis Smith. With Van Gundy being fired for a while now he is still taking shots at the Magic franchise. Here is what Van Gundy had to stay on 740 The Game in Orlando. Most of his anger is towards Magice CEO Alex Martins...

Stan Van Gundy blasts Magic CEO Alex Martins: He has no sports knowledge

There will be no talk about how the NBA is just a business and how there are no hard feelings now that Stan Van Gundy and the Magic have officially ended their relationship. There are hard feelings. It was no secret that Van Gundy and Dwight Howard did not get along, and Stan feels as though the Magic did a poor job of handling the situation. In particular, he doesn’t think very...

Van Gundy: Culture change caused Magic's fall

Ever since Rob Hennigan took over the Magic's general manager, he has spoken very clearly about his desire to establish a culture and a franchise that fans can be proud of and relate to. He wants to build something sustainable that will ultimately deliver a championship to Orlando. It is admirable and it is absolutely what the Magic should do in the wake of the Dwight Howard...

Your Morning Dump… Where Stan Van Gundy napalms the Magic

Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. It’s a typical lack of understanding from someone who has no sports knowledge, who has never coached or played, who has never been in a lockeroom….it’s a naivete,” Van Gundy said of [Orlando CEO Alex] Martins...

Stan Van Gundy Says Derrick Rose Could Leave Bulls

Derrick Rose can’t be a free agent until 2017. We will know if Usain Bolt can win the 100m and 200m again before having to worry about Derrick Rose leaving Chicago, but here is what SVG had to say. Stan Van Gundy — who was in the middle of the poorly handled (by everyone) Howard debacle — was speaking Monday on 740 The Game sports radio in Orlando Monday and said he thinks...

I trust Stan Van Gundy and not Alex Martins

I don’t care if they fire me. If they do I’ll go home and have a good day. Not an exact quote but that about sums up the day Stan Van Gundy decided he was done with the junk he had been put through. With diet Pepsi in hand SVG told the media that Dwight [...]
