Every morning, we will give you five things from the night before in the NBA to start your day. 1: Saturday night drama Across the NBA on Saturday night there was plenty of drama and plenty of exciting finishes. In other words, it was a great Saturday to have the NBA back! Martell Webster missed a game-tying 3-pointer at the buzzer as Washington's upset bid at home over Boston fell short 89-86. The Pacers and Kings went to double overtime in a 106-98 victory for Indiana. Ray Allen drained a late 3-pointer to help the Heat sink the Nuggets and send the Nuggets to a surprising 0-3 start. Brandon Jennings drained a shot at the buzzer for a 105-102 win over Cleveland, leaving Cleveland hinting there might have been some home time keeping. And if that was not enough, the Warriors and Clippers had some late-night drama in the night cap. You could not ask for much more from a wild Saturday night in the NBA and a great way to conclude the first calendar week of the season. 2:  Welcome Brooklyn The Nets played their first home game since the big move to Brooklyn, and there was likely no reason to complain with the product on the floor or the ambiance in the arena (the recovery from Hurricane Sandy continues however). David Stern, Adam Silver, Jay-Z and Mikhail Prokhorov were all in the Barclays Center for the opening event and the Nets delivered with a 107-100 win over the Raptors. Brook Lopez scored 27 points and Deron Williams added 19 points and nine assists. Brooklyn is in the NBA now. There is a lot of pride in the borough and a lot of excitement of rhte season to really get cranking. The Nets are 1-0 and happy to have their new home. 3:  HIGHLIGHTS!!! Ray Allen rocks the Nuggets Jennings rocks the Cavs Kyle Lowry breaks you 4:  Line of the Night:  Chris Paul 27 points, 10 assists, 3/9 FGs, 19/20 FTs In a losing effort for the Clippers, Paul did about all he could. He attacked the basket and created for his team getting 10 assists and going to the line 20 times. One of his three field goal makes was a critical lay in to keep it a one-possession game with less than a minute to play in the game. 5:  You can quote me on that I knew Ray was going to slide corner. We haven't been playing together that long, but I've seen him on the other side. I knew exactly what he was going to do. I'm just happy I was able to put it on the money and he took care of the rest. -LeBron James on being on the right side of a Ray Allen game-winner We came out ready to play. I don't want to get fined, so I'm not going to say nothing about the clock starting late on the last shot. But they have to figure out a way to do something about that. The bottom line is that either it doesn't count or you take it out again. They've got to figure out a way. Looking at it again in the locker room a couple of times, the shot shouldn't have counted. The clock started too late. -Byron Scott on Brandon Jennings' game-winning shot [follow]
