According to the San Jose Mercury News, point guard Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors have agreed to a four-year extension worth $44 million. For a guard that is always injured, $11 million a year is not bad at all. The deal is just the $44 million and does not include any other bonuses that other players may get such as getting to the Finals or whatever extra incentives one may get. The franchise made their intentions clear that Stephen Curry will be the face of their franchise after shipping guard Monta Ellis to the Milwaukee Bucks. Curry tweeted,
Gameday baby. And thanks to Joe Lacob & the Warriors and hopefully I can say that for the next 4 yrs. agreed on extension
So apparently, the Golden State Warriors have faith that Stephen Curry can carry the team even with his bummy ankles. As long as he can stay healthy, that franchise is in good hands for the next four years.

Andrew Bogut Still Can’t Get A High Five
I can’t honestly claim to have met Andrew Bogut, but he seems like a fine Australian gentlemen. With his endearing accent and charming wit, he comes across as the sort of fellow that would never be hard pressed to find a high five. However, in 2008, it became evident that this is not the case. Many of you probably recall Bogut’s comical reaction when his teammates failed...

Grizzlies-Warriors Preview
The Golden State Warriors seem to be buying into a different approach - similar to the one that worked for the Memphis Grizzlies last season.
Unlike Memphis, Golden State used a strong defensive effort to win its season opener and will try to continue that trend Friday night to avoid a seventh consecutive loss to the Grizzlies.
While the Warriors look to open 2-0 for just the second...
