New details have emerged regarding that big altercation that took place between the Warriors and Clippers in the wake of the Clippers’ game 7 victory Saturday night. And they are sort of embarrassing. We already knew about the crap that went down between Marreese Speights and Glen Davis, the yelling that took place between Jermaine O’Neal and Blake Griffin and the reports that Chris Paul somehow rekindled the affair after it had apparently died down. There was also a report from Doc Rivers’ son that Speights had stormed into the Clippers locker room but that is unconfirmed. Now we’ve learned that Warriors players Stephen Curry and Steve Blake also became engaged in the hallway battle. Per Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports, Curry and Blake became part of the initial altercation after the two players ran into the hallway to confront someone who had been taunting the losing team. Spears says Warriors players thought they heard a Clippers assistant in the hallway outside their locker room shouting “It’s real quiet in there.” When Curry and Blake hurried out to shut the guy up, they found themselves face-to-face with a pair of terrifying Clippers ball boys. So it now appears that the entire Clippers-Warriors dust up may have been touched off by two misbehaving ball boys?
