A sprained right ankle will sideline Stephen Curry Wednesday night against the Miami Heat. Uh oh.
Tim Roye, the voice of the Golden State Warriors, tweeted that Curry would miss the game. ESPN's Brian Windhorst reported that Curry re-injured his balky ankle Wednesday morning.
This is terrible news for Curry owners, who were hoping Curry's frequent sprains were a thing of the past. He played in just 26 games last season and missed eight games the years before.
On the season, Curry is averaging 20.5 points (43.7 FG% and 89.3 FT%), 4.2 rebounds, 6.6 assists, 1.6 steals and .2 blocks with 113 three-pointers made.
