Stern Gave the Knicks A Win

After watching a video of Kobe Bryant's "foul" I am convinced Stern decided to suspend Bryant to help out the Knicks. Without their star the Lakers fell 99-94, but with Kobe LA would have ended up on top. What other explanation is there for Stern to suspend Kobe?
