PLAYERS: Steve Nash
TEAMS: Los Angeles Lakers
The 38-year old future Hall of Famer picked LA for a reason. With his stats dropping off each season, it looks like the Lakers point guard is ready to unleash his talents on Hollywood. From The Godfather and Star Wars to Paranormal Activity and The Dark Knight Rises, Nash has created a library of gut-wrenching performances on NOC’s YouTube page. Expect the point guard to not only set screens, but appear on them in the near future. Of course that’s all gibberish. Steve Nash is still an elite floor leader and the movie spoofs from Nash, Camera, Action Productions are entertaining and amusing. But please Steve, keep far away from the world of movie premiers, paparazzi  and weekend box office figures. After witnessing the two-time MVP’s acting chops in the clip, NBA refs wouldn’t be the only ones calling out Nash for flopping.               Article has been read 16 times

Earl Clark plays well in starting role: 12 points and eight rebounds

So far, so good with Earl Clark. His first night as the Lakers' starting power forward ended in a loss, but Clark played well (12 points, eight rebounds and two blocks). Clark played 34 minutes, and it sounds like he's locked in going forward. Pick him up. Off the bench, Pau Gasol played 25 minutes but posted an efficient line: 15 points, 12 rebounds, two assists and...

Bryant, Lakers at a loss after goring by Bulls

Off target all night, Kobe Bryant sure was on point when it was over. The Nets are Lucky Not to Have Dwight Howard; and They Should Keep it That Way

How happy are the Nets now that they don’t have Dwight Howard? The superstar center’s departure from Orlando is well known.  First he wanted out, then he said he would stay but the entire time he really just wanted to come to Brooklyn to play for the new look Nets.  When that became apparent, the Nets tried to acquire Howard but couldn’t get a deal done and moved on.
