As part of Steve Nash's "Nash, Camera, Action", a movie parody series directed by Nash himself, he decided to take on Star Wars. Makes sense seeing as how he has pretty much converted to the dark side and now plays for the Suns' rival, the Los Angeles Lakers. Nash plays Darth Vader in the clip with Suns forward Jared Dudley as a Luke Skywalker-esque character trying to stop Nash from going to the dark side. Its hard not to like Steve Nash after seeing a clip like this. He really is a pretty funny guy and hopefully gets a job on television after his career is done.

Suns traded Nash to get younger, more athletic

Lon Babby had been preparing for the day when Steve Nash would no longer be with the Phoenix Suns. Knowing it was coming didn't make it any easier for the Suns' president of basketball operations. Calling the decision to part with Nash ''excruciating,'' Babby says Wednesday that last week's sign-and-trade deal with the rival Los Angeles Lakers was a...

Steve Nash gets the drive-by-beer treatment on an L.A. freeway

Steve Nash and some Los Angeles surfer dudes inadvertently just made the greatest Keystone Light beer commercial EVER! Yeah, that just happened. Steve Nash posted a video of himself riding in the backseat of a cab down an L.A. freeway when a group of surfer dudes pulled up next to him an offered him a delicious Keystone Light. Nash couldn’t resist this generous offer and...

Here’s some behind-the-scenes action of Steve Nash of his first day as a Los Angeles Laker complete with his first pictures in the Laker uni. Steve Nash is such a classy guy as he goes through all the introductions, but that yellow uni just washes his skin out.  H/T I Am A GM

Suns: Nash departure painful but necessary

PHOENIX It was not quite an over-my-dead-body moment. But it was close. Steve Nash wanted to be traded to the Los Angeles Lakers? When we first heard it, we had the same reaction that probably everybody in this community had, which was a visceral reaction that says, No way. Were not going to do that, Suns president of basketball operations Lon Babby said here Wednesday. Thats...

Video: LA fans pass Steve Nash a beer on the freeway

Which beer maker want’s to sponsor these people? A group of California kids apparently recognized new Laker, Steve Nash, driving down the freeway. Instead of just screaming, “Steve, hey, Steve!” they yelled “Steve, take the beer.” Keystone Light needs to hire these guys to drive down the freeway and pass out beers as celebrities drive by.  We can call them the “celebrity...

Nash embraces exciting, unforeseen project

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- Steve Nash knew the scene was more than a bit surreal when he stood in the Los Angeles Lakers' training complex, grinning and holding up a gold No. 10 jersey with his name on the back. "Being here right now is something I never foresaw," Nash said Wednesday. "That (jersey) was a major hurdle for me just to get over visually as a player."...

Nash gives Lakers first great point guard in years

The Los Angeles Lakers haven't had a great point guard since Kobe Bryant joined the team in 1996. Now they have one of the greatest of all-time to pair with Bryant in the backcourt. Steve Nash, who arrived in the NBA the same time as Bryant in '96, was acquired from the Phoenix Suns in a sign-and-trade deal that cost the Lakers two first-round draft picks, two second...

J.R. Smith says Steve Nash is a young Clint Eastwood

PatJ.R. Smith is known to fly a little off the handle on his twitter account. Well, he’s pure entertainment while soaking in the mess of an event that is The ESPYs. He has the line of the night (or morning, depending on which coast you’re on) with this tweet and photo evidence to back it up. Appears the assist may go to some cohorts of his at instagram. The #37yrold #clinteastwood...

2012 NBA Rumor Central: Dallas Mavericks to make amnesty bid on Luis Scola

The Dallas Mavericks may have lost out on the point guard sweepstakes in Deron Williams and Steve Nash, but they are still making moves. A nice move, if it works out for them, is the fact the club is looking to make an amnesty bid on Luis Scola via ESPN. They are also in the mix for [...]

GOODBYE JEREMY AND GOOD RIDDANCE!!

ROCKETMANThe pursuit of Steve Nash did show that the Knicks have big doubts about Lin’s ability to guide them in the short term with the win-now cast of characters in place. 25 million for a future D-league off the bench PG is absurd. Yell, Cry, stomp your feet but LIN is History in the archives of the New York Knicks. They will not match Houston's offer despite the...
