The New York Knicks could be getting a nice Christmas present as forward Amar'e Stoudemire's goal is to return in late December and possibly play against the Lakers Christmas Day, reports the New York Post.
According to the New York Post's sources Stoudemire hasn't even ran on the court following his left-knee-debridement surgery Nov. 1.
Stoudemire said earlier in the week that he would be willing to come off the bench if the team is winning.
"He just wants to win," reports ESPN. "He sees how well they're playing and just wants to help. He'll be fine with whatever they want to do."
