Missing Magic basketball? Yeah, I am too.
It has been a rough couple of weeks and word is leaking out that the NBA plans to cancel two more weeks of games today. There will be an empty feeling throughout November.
Still Magic basketball always finds a way to carry on. And Sun Sports is going to do a lot to help us out with that. Sun Sports and the Magic announced that the network will revisit several classic games in a new series entitled: "Magic Classics."
The first broadcast will be Oct. 26 at 6 p.m. with a review of the Magic's inaugural game against the defending champion Pistons. On Nov. 2, the network will look back at the 1989 matchup with Chicago where Otis Smith's buzzer beater trumped Michael Jordan's 52 points. On Nov. 9, Sun Sports will revisit the final game at the Boston Garden when the Magic advanced past the first round for the first time. All the broadcasts will be at 6 p.m., and I am sure more will come.
