YouTube The Las Vegas Summer League is nothing more than organized playground call.  But it definitely provides a decent venue for highlights.  Today’s flavor comes from two Phoenix Suns youngsters – Archie Goodwin, a 2013 first-round pick out of Kentucky, and Kendall Marshall, their 2012 first round pick. Marshall lofted an inbounds pass in Goodwin’s direction after a nicely executed play under the hoop.  Rather than catch the pass, gather himself and go back up, Goodwin pushed it back in the direction of the hoop as he fell to the floor after being knocked out of the air by Heat guard D.J. Kennedy. The shot fell after a kiss off the glass, however it was ruled off because officials ruled that Goodwin was fouled before he attempted the shot. It’s the summer league refs, style points should account for just as much as normal points do.
