TEAMS: Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers
CLEVELAND -- The Phoenix Suns, in the midst of their longest road trip of the season, stumbled Sunday in Philadelphia, but they rebounded in a big way Tuesday. The Suns rolled to a 91-78 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers before 13,687 at Quicken Loans Arena. "It was a grind-it-out kind of game," Suns coach Alvin Gentry said. "These guys (the Cavaliers) have played four games in five nights. Obviously, they were very tired, and we wanted to try to push the tempo." That big push came at the end of the third quarter, which Phoenix closed with 14 unanswered points. The Suns (7-8) aren't known as a good defensive team. They came into the game last in the NBA in points allowed and 28th in opponents' field-goal percentage. The Cavs matched their season low in points and field-goal percentage (.357). Phoenix's 104-101 defeat against the 76ers on Sunday kicked off a six-game trip. Cleveland (3-12) lost its fourth game in a row. After staying clo...

Schedule stinks, but Cavs must find a way
CLEVELAND -- The Cavaliers are entering dangerous territory, the kind that can cause a team to lose a grip on the buying public way too soon in a season.
That's not a criticism. It's a harsh reality.
The latest example came Tuesday, a 91-78 embarrassment against a Phoenix team that isn't very good.
Did we mention the game was at home?
Did we mention the Cavs blew...
Byron Scott Thinks All The Cavs Except One Player Sucked Last Night
The Cleveland Cavaliers have a paltry 3-12 and Tuesday night’s loss to the Suns didn’t make matters any better. The only bright spot has been the Cavs center, who is having a fairly incredible season which is not going unnoticed by his coach. Byron opened his Tuesday presser with a simple and very true statement:
“Andy Varejao was fantastic. Everybody else sucked tonight...
Suns must right road wrongs vs. Cavaliers
The Phoenix Suns just came up short after making a late run.
That wasn't the case earlier this month against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Phoenix will try to avoid its worst road start in a decade on Tuesday night when the Cavaliers look to bounce back from an 0-3 trip.
The Suns (6-8) briefly took the lead after trailing by 10 late in the third quarter on Sunday, but they fell...
Cleveland Cavaliers End Latest Road Trip in Memphis Tonight
The Cleveland Cavaliers had an interesting Thanksgiving weekend. Last Wednesday they got things started with a big win at home against Philadelphia to end their losing streak. Jeremy Pargo had an absolutely insane breakout game in filling in for Kyrie Irving.
Unfortunately, the Cavaliers had to follow that up with another road trip. This one a 3 game trip, and they have already lost...

Cavaliers Running Offense Through Varejao
Anderson Varejao is shooting 51 percent from the field and has extended his range.
Jamison: I love Cleveland, but Los Angeles is unbelievable
I love Mike (Brown) to death and don’t know what the situation would’ve presented itself had he stayed but for me I’m one of those guys where first of all just give me the opportunity to be on the court for an extended period of time and eventually I will find a way to contribute but it was difficult for me to come in the game and my only three or four shots were threes and...
Anderson Varejao 15 Points 22 Rebounds & 3 Ast’s 2 Stl’s & 1 Block as The Cavaliers Forget There’s A 4th Period
It was another wasted effort by the Cleveland Cavaliers Anderson Varejao who continues to play inspired basketball for his Cleveland Cavaliers team. The Cavaliers out played the Memphis Grizzlies for 3 periods in the game before the wheels completely fell off the Cleveland Cavaliers team. The Cavs only scored 9 points in the 4th quarter of the game. You see the Grizzlies remembered...
