Found November 01, 2012 on TWolves Blog:
Tonight, after what seemed like a 200 bajillion-year wait, the Wolves open the year at home vs. Sacramento (doesn't it feel like we always open against the Kings?). Finally. No Love or Rubio of course, but Roy and AK47 will be ready for active duty and immediate fan judgment. That being said, since everybody LOVES bullets, here are ten random musings/bullets to look out for as you either trudge to Target Center, or nestle into your carefully hand-crafted, 3-month aged butt groove on the couch with an ice cold IPA/lager/brown ale/O'Doul's etc. and a pizza. And hopefully some company. Also, to tease the palate, there is exactly one Richie Frahm reference below amidst the rubble. Excited yet? Pekovic vs. Cousins. This matchup quietly became one of the more interesting battles ever since Pek first set foot (and destroyed) the Target Center Floor as a Rambis project. Cousins, as many know, has a bit of a temper and thus Pekovic is the perfect kahndidate to get under h...

Roy fends off pressure in NBA comeback for T-Wolves

Anyone who knows Brandon Roy can attest to that fact that Roy is a real calm and cool cat both on and off of the floor. But come Friday evening in Sacramento, the Minnesota Timberwolves guard will likely be a ball of nerves as his NBA comeback tour kicks off in Minnesota’s regular season opener. It has been a very long and very interesting 19 months since Roy last played in...

The Greg Oden Ass Tattoo: Sacramento Kings Fan Loses Bet!

Sacramento Kings fan Zach Stochl is a man of his word. He made some sort of a bet with a friend and went under the needle last night to pay up with a giant smiling Greg Oden photo tattooed to his ass. Yes, Greg Oden’s smiling mug is permanently on Zach’s ass. I was just making my normal Greg Oden rounds and this is what I find. Zach tweets: I can’t sleeping knowing what is...

As Brooks was going for the ball, Hinrich landed on top of him, planting his face straight into the floor at the United...

Aaron Brooks Breaks Tooth While Diving For a Loose Ball

Hustle is the name of the game and Aaron Brooks was king on Wednesday night when his Sacramento Kings played the Chicago Bulls. Brooks was guarding Kirk Hinrich at the top of the key and poked the ball away, both players went after the loose ball but Brooks made a fantastic effort to save it before it went out of bounds. The effort however yielded Brooks a broken tooth, which you...

Wolves know their jobs and are doing them

MINNEAPOLIS Rick Adelman told Brandon Roy not to worry about the missed shots. Dont worry about the 10 field goals, the five three-pointers, the two free throws. Theyll come. My, what a positive after a 92-80 win that came in spite of the Timberwolves offense, in spite of Roys shooting, in spite of so much. But Adelman isnt delusional. Hes been doing this too long to be. Hes had...

Barea, bench lift Timberwovles over Kings

MINNEAPOLIS -- If you hung around Target Center enough last year, you heard, over and over, Minnesota Timberwolves coach Rick Adelman despairing over his lack of depth, pleading for more playmakers, dissing his defense. What a difference an off-season makes. A re-tooled Wolves roster that was playing Friday without stars Kevin Love (broken hand) and Rickey Rubio (knee surgery...
