Mavericks guard Jason "The Jet" Terry has an offer that will make one lucky fan feel like they're flying in first class. Terry is raffling off a replica of his NBA Championship ring, valued at 36,000. And best of all, according to a report in The Dallas Morning News, the raffle's proceeds go to charity, the Jason Terry Foundation. "These fans, they were proud of us," Terry said at a Monday news conference. "And everywhere we go, what do they ask you? They want to see that ring. And one fan is going to definitely be able to say, hey, not only can you see it, but I got it. And it's right here." Unlike some high-dollar raffles, fans won't need a loan to enter the drawing. Tickets for the raffle, hosted by CelebritiesForCharity.org, are just 2 each with a minimum purchase of five tickets. Tickets can be purchased at celebritiesforcharity.org A link to the purchase site can also be found at jasonterryfoundation.org The winner will be getting a lot more than the 14-karat white gold ring covered in 250 diamonds (9.0 total carat weight). The winner will also receive 18,150 to cover the tax liability on the ring. The winner will also receive two tickets to the Mavs-Clippers game on April 2, a personal tour of the locker room conducted by Terry, two nights hotel accommodations and a 2,000 travel allowance if needed. A similar charity raffle conducted by the Lakers' Ron Artest (now known as Metta World Peace) raised 650,000. "I'm very competitive," Terry said. "I want to beat Ron Artest. We're hoping to raise 600,000 to 800,000. Hopefully, with the support of Mav Nation, we can get it done." Follow Keith Whitmire on Twitter: @Keith_Whitmire
