You have to hand it to the fine folks with the Dallas Mavericks for being on the cutting edge of creative stunts.Recently, the Mavericks sent a Dirk Nowitzki bobblehead into space to the tune of nearly 94,630 feet above the Earth.You can check it out the stunt in the below clip along with the behind-the-scenes in the other video:Here is more of the details about trip from the fine folks at Beer Mug Sports:Three cameras made the trip into space along with the bobblehead, which will be signed by Dirk and auctioned off. The winner of the auction will also get to meet Dirk at center court of a Mavs game. The flight lasted 106 minutes and the bobblehead reached a maximum altitude of of 94,630 feet, which is almost 18 miles high. The bobblehead traveled nearly 35 miles from ground to touchdown with and averaged a 1,140 foot per minute ascent rate.
