Marc Stein has traded Manchester, England for Dallas, Texas and is back on the NBA beat. He has this report on the Mavericks' roster adjustments headed into training camp: In one of the last roster moves before training camps open, Jake Voskuhl has signed a non-guaranteed contract with the Dallas Mavericks. His chances of making the Mavs' roster would appear to be slim, since Dallas already has 16 players with guaranteed contracts even after the recent release of swingman Greg Buckner. But with forward Tim Thomas out for the next month-plus after needing knee surgery last week and Nathan Jawai not in the Mavericks' long-term plans, Dallas apparently felt that it needed one more big man in training camp. Voskuhl played in 38 games last season for the Toronto Raptors and is entering his 10th season after stints with Chicago, Phoenix, Charlotte, Milwaukee and Toronto.
