Almost unknown to the NBA hardcore fanbase, Ryan Hollins has not seen consistent minutes throughout his NBA career.
In his first year, he has been a Charlotte Bobcat and Dallas Maverick. The Minnesota Timberwolves have just signed the Restricted Free Agent today, and I have to say, I'm happy.
Not only do we now have two seven footers in Hollins and Pecherov, they are both young and have very unique play styles, giving the Wolves more flexibility. But this is about Hollins, and I do believe that Hollins can complement Al Jefferson and Kevin Love well, and VERY WELL.
Let's not look at the 10 minutes per game that he averaged over the season, or the 11 minutes per game he averaged in the Conference-semi finals, but rather the performance of Ryan Hollins. Please Consider:
8 Rebounds, 3 Blocks, and 2 Points in 19 Minutes in the Conference Semi-Finals.
9 Points, 8 Rebounds and 4 Blocks in 22 Minutes against Denver in the Regular season.
