The Trailblazers have signed 28-year old power forward Craig Smith. Smith played in 48 games (0 starts) for the Clippers last year and he averaged 12.2 minutes, 5.4 points, 2.4 rebounds and 0.6 assists per game last year. He has now played in 356 games (49 starts) in his first five years in the NBA and he is averaging 17.9 minutes, 8.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game. This was a smart signing for the Blazers as they needed a backup for LaMarcus Aldridge at power forward.

We could potentially get word of a deal as soon as tomorrow, so stay tuned. Jordan...

I know they didn’t win a championship, a conference title or heck, even one single game as currently...
We finally have a deal in place for the Hornets to trade Chris Paul. From Adrian Wojnarowski:
The NBA has traded Chris Paul to the Los Angeles Clippers in a deal that will pair star forward Blake Griffin with one of the game's top point guards.
The league-owned New Orleans Hornets will receive guard Eric Gordon, center Chris Kaman, forward Al-Farouq Aminu and the Minnesota...
Jamal Crawford was a wanted man this past week—Sacramento, New York and Portland were all reportedly courting him—and it appears he’ll be suiting up in Rip City this coming season. SI has the scoop: “Jamal Crawford has decided to sign a one-year, $5 million deal with Portland, according to sources close to the free-agent guard. But the deal is not yet finalized. The 11...
A race to relevance that spanned three cities and took close to 42 years finally crossed the finish line earlier this week when the Clippers acquired star point guard Chris Paul from the New Orleans Hornets.
Life has been kind to Chris Paul in his first few days living under the sunny southern California sky. It will get a whole lot better once he's able to take the court with his teammates for the first time.
